Getting Started

Getting Started – Three EASY Steps!

Step One:

To explain the program and clarify your interest, please fill out a participation interest form. By completing this form you are under no obligation, but this provides a clear understanding of the multiple benefits of this quality program. Once explained, we know you and your team will benefit from participation. This quality process is totally anonymous, meaning that no one will ever be able to see any information about your particular breast practice. Yet all participating centers will be able to see aggregate information of all participating centers across the country. Data can be filtered so your site can compare with other similar sites in size and scope.

Step Two:

Once the participation interest form is submitted, you will be contacted by NCBC Staff for a site tour and answer to any questions. Due to the complexity of this quality program, all NQMBC Quality Programs require NCBC Facility Membership. If you are not a facility member with NCBC, please fill out the application for membership. Thereafter you will receive a login number to begin entering data and comparing yourself with others. Part of this application is a data validity agreement form to assure that only vetted accurate data will be submitted to maintain the integrity of NQMBC quality comparison reports. This process may take up to 3 business days.

Why is the Data Validity Agreement required with each login?

The NCBC asks all surgeons who wish to participate in the NQMBC – Surgeon Program to consenting to a Data Validity Agreement. By consenting to this agreement, the surgeon avows to the NCBC that the surgeon will be a participant in the NQMBC – Surgeon Program. This agreement serves as verification that the data a surgeon provides will be true and accurate.

This agreement also declares that the NCBC will keep all data submitted confidential in perpetuity. The NCBC will enroll the surgeon in the NQMBC – Surgeon Program.
